Long serving employee, Lisa Landells, who has been with the company for 5 years as General Office Manager, has been promoted to Key Accounts Manager and will start her new life out on the road from September. She will be responsible for handling the full portfolio of brands managed by the business.
Paul Roberts, MD of the business that represents brands such as Gessi, Bossini and IBB as well as its own Stone range, is delighted that Lisa has agreed to develop her role further. He commented
“Lisa is a natural communicator and, with her in-depth knowledge of the sector and her technical appreciation of our brassware ranges, I am convinced she will be a tremendous asset to us out and about, dealing with customers.
A brand new role at the company reflects the ethos of service and support, which Paul Roberts firmly believes has helped the company withstand the downturn. Mike Hall, an old hand in the bathroom industry following a long career at Bristan and Armitage Shanks, has been appointed as Customer Service and Technical Manager. He started his new role at the company in July and is keen to make an immediate impact. Of his new boss, he says;
“I have known Paul Roberts for a long time, having previously worked with him in this sector. I have long admired Chartley for its tenacity in representing some of the finest brands in the industry. They have carved out a real niche in the luxury sector with design led, top quality products that make their way in to some of the UK’s finest homes, hotels and buildings. I relish the opportunity to make a contribution to the future success of the business”.
