Grand London Hotels specify Grand Hotel Accessories

The £25 million refurbishment of historic Arlington House Hotel in Central London overlooking St James Park had to be carried out sympathetically to its prestigious location in the Capital. Located next to the Ritz Hotel and undergoing conversion to leased apartments, it was imperative that the highest quality of fittings was specified throughout.

With both the location and customer in mind, Merchant Management Ltd in South West London, suppliers of bathrooms for the project, approached Chartley Ltd to supply their unique Grand Hotel Accessory range of soap dishes, tumblers, towel rings, clothes lines and robe hooks, plus a host of other bathroom accessories to complete the high class fit out of the bathrooms.

The accessories, from the Stone range of bathroom brassware, are designed specifically for commercial interior projects. Manufactured from the best possible brass and finished in chrome, the broad range consists of 29 products in all chrome or chrome and glass finishes.

Derek Waddington of Merchant Management was responsible for sourcing the range. He commented “I was looking for a high quality range of accessories to fit out the bathrooms in Arlington House. I have dealt with Chartley for a number of years, so I know that they could provide not only an appropriate quality product, but also the exacting service levels that I need when I do this kind of project. This range was new to their portfolio, but their stocking policy ensures that our delivery schedules were not going to be an issue”.

The same range of accessories has since been specified by Derek on a further project. The Beaufort House Hotel, next door to Harrods, once again demanded a high quality solution and Grand Hotel Accessories perfectly fitted the bill.
